THE DOR AWARDS RULES
The Dor Brothers – Full contest Terms:
The following are the terms and conditions ("Terms") of the Dor Awards contest (the "Contest"). The Contest is organized and offered to you by American Company Name: The Dor Brothers LLC.
Your participation in this Contest shall be deemed to constitute your complete acceptance of the provisions below.
The Contest will consist of the submission of AI generated videos ("Videos"), in accordance with the specifications listed below. Winners will be selected as further described in these terms.
General requirements for participation
· The contest is intended for individual participants. Companies or other legal entities may not participate.
· A participant has to be 18 years of age or older.
· A participant may only enter the Contest if such participation is not otherwise prohibited or restricted by the jurisdiction in which the participant resides.
· The contest is not opened to residents of Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Syria, the Crimea, Donetsk People’s Republic, and Luhansk People’s Republic regions of the Ukraine.
· Participation is subject to an entry fee of fifteen (15) US Dollars.
· Each participant may submit only one (1) video to the Contest.
· Participation is prohibited for employees, representatives, agents, directors, and officers of the Company, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliated companies, and marketing agencies, or any other parties involved in the administration of the Contest and each of the immediate family members of such excluded individuals and all persons living in the same household of each.
General video requirements
· The Videos must be an original piece of work, produced by AI tools. The Video can contain portions of live videos or animation, but AI tools must be at the core of the Video.
· The Videos' runtime should be no less than one (1) minute and no more than three (3) minutes.
· The participant must have all rights necessary to submit the Video, including copyrights, trademarks, music, artwork, including without limitation the right to allow the Company to display the Video on any media now known or later developed.
· The Video must adhere to the following rules and by submitting the Video, each participant warrants and represents that:
a. The Video does not violate, in any manner, any laws, regulations or regulatory requirements in the jurisdiction in which it is created or distributed.
b. The Video does not infringe rights of any third party(ies) including without limitation, copyright, privacy, publicity rights, trademarks, trade secret or any other right. For the purposes of this section, Videos containing libel would be considered infringing on third party's rights.
c. The Video does not contain material which could be considered as inciting to violence or encouraging illegal behavior.
d. The Video does not disparage the Company or any party affiliated with it or the Contest.
e. The use of the Video will not require the Company or any affiliated third party to pay any royalties or other consideration to any third party.
f. The Video does not contain any viruses, trojan horses, trap doors, back doors, easter eggs, worms, time bombs, cancelbots or other computer programming routines that are intended to interfere with or cause harm to the Company's resources or any computer or software.
g. The Video has not been previously submitted to any other event and was created specifically during the Term (as defined below) of the Contest.
By posting the Video and participating in the Contest, you agree to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from any and all claims, demands, causes of action and judgments (including attorney’s fees, court costs and expert’s fees) arising out of or relating to any breach by you of any of the foregoing representations and warranties.
· The Video must include at least one of the following elements:
a. Door;
b. Twins;
c. Trophy;
· The participant acknowledges that the Company may add a disclaimer prior to each Video, associating the Video with the Contest and recommending viewer discretion.
Submission of Videos and ownership of rights
· Video submissions can be submitted between September 17th, 2025 and October 3rd, 2025, at 11:59:00 PM GMT ("the Term").
· Submissions after the Term will not be accepted and will not be considered as participants in the Contest.
· Video submissions will be uploaded by filling in the applicable form. Additional instructions on uploading the Video may be provided in the upload page or in other notifications.
· The Company may, at its sole discretion, disqualify any Video which does not strictly follow these Terms or is inappropriate in any other way.
· By entering the Contest and submitting a Video, you hereby grant to the Company and its successors and assigns a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable, worldwide, royalty-free, fully-paid right and license, with the right to sublicense, to all of your intellectual property rights in and to its Video, to publicly perform, publicly display, digitally transmit, distribute, copy, modify, create derivative works, and otherwise use the Video by the Company on any media now known or later developed solely for the purpose of running and promoting the Contest or future similar campaigns. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you hereby unconditionally and irrevocably waive all, and the enforcement of all, moral rights that you may have, if any, in the Video Submission.
Subject to the rights and licenses conveyed herein, participants shall retain sole and exclusive right, title and interest in and to their Video and all intellectual property rights thereto.
· The Company may disqualify or otherwise restrict a participant from taking part in the Contest if the Company has reason to believe that such a participant is acting in a fraudulent manner, including without limitation, with regards to the Video, the voting process, its own identity or the identity of others and any other act(s) which could affect the legitimate operation of the Contest. Such a decision is final, binding, and not subject to appeal or challenge.
Selection process, individual votes and timetable
· The selection process of the winners will be based on decisions made by the Company, a panel of judges and public votes, as further detailed below. The Company and judges' decisions will be based on the quality of the Video (including technical level, use of music and artwork) and its use of the elements listed above.
· The determination of Contest winners may be based on a combination of factors, which may include (i) user votes submitted as described below, (ii) evaluations made by the Company, and (iii) evaluations made by a panel of judges selected by the Sponsor (collectively, the “Evaluation Criteria”).
· The Company reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to allocate and assign different weight or value to each component of the Evaluation Criteria, including, without limitation, assigning greater weight to the Company’s or judges’ evaluations than to user votes.
· All decisions regarding the Evaluation Criteria and the selection of winners are final, binding, and not subject to appeal or challenge.
· The exact names of panel judges may vary and will be published by the Company at a later date.
· Individual votes:
a. Individuals may vote for their selection of Videos through the online voting mechanism made available by the Company on Discord. Votes will only be accepted if submitted via Discord in the manner specified by the Company. The use of Discord is also subject to the terms and conditions of Discord.
b. Each individual can vote for up to one (1) Video. Additional votes would be disqualified and not taken into account.
c. Votes that are, or appear to be, generated by automated means, scripts, macros, bots, commercial voting services, fraudulent identities, or any other method intended to circumvent the integrity of the voting process, as determined by the Company in its sole discretion, will be disqualified.
d. The Company is not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, corrupted, incomplete, or otherwise invalid votes, or for any technical malfunctions, outages, or errors on Discord that may interfere with or limit the ability to submit votes.
e. The Company reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, suspend, or cancel the voting process at any time, including if it determines that voting has been tampered with, compromised, or cannot be conducted fairly or securely.
· On October 10th, 2025 – the Company will announce the 50 best Videos from which the winners will be selected.
· On October 17th, 2025 – the Company will announce the top 10 Videos.
· On October 25th, 2025 – the Company will announce the winner and places #2 and #3.
Prizes and acceptance
The prizes in the Contest will be as follows:
a. First prize – 20,000 USD + the Contest statute;
b. Second place – 10,000 USD;
c. Third place – 5,000 USD;
d. Places 4-10 will receive, in equal parts, the aggregated sum accumulated from the entry fees to the Contest. For the removal of doubt, such sum will be allocated after deduction of transactional costs and other payments associated with handling and remitting payments.
· The full names of the winners and their Video may be published by the Company in any media, at any time.
· Provision of the prize is subject to verification of the winner's identity, age, jurisdiction and any other information required in order to complete the processing of payment.
· The winners may be required to complete, sign, notarize and return an affidavit of eligibility/liability release, publicity release, and other documentation confirming the Company’s rights in connection with the Video.
· If a winner (i) is determined to be ineligible or otherwise disqualified by the Company, (ii) fails to respond to the Company's first winner notification message within 48 hours of notification or after two (2) attempts (whichever occurs first), or (iii) fails to timely provide any information requested by the Company (e.g., information needed by the Company to deliver any prize) or timely execute and return any documents required by the Company, the winner will be disqualified and forfeit all interest in any prize. If the winner is disqualified, the Company reserves the right to select a substitute winner or not award the unclaimed prize(s).
· The right to receive a prize cannot be transferred or assigned.
· Each winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, local, provincial/territorial, or other applicable taxes associated with the acceptance and use of the prizes. Each winner agrees and acknowledges that the Company may be required to withhold and remit a portion of prize value to comply with applicable tax laws and such winner will provide the Company with all required information needed to perform such actions.
· Except where prohibited by law, by accepting a prize, the winners hereby grant the Company and its representatives an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive and sub-licensable right and license to use, distribute, and publicly display the winners’ name and information about the prize award, in any way, at any time, in any and all media, including without limitation, for use in advertising and marketing, without any additional approval or consideration. By accepting a prize, Winners represent and warrant that they have the right to grant the foregoing license.
Limitations of liability and release
· By entering into the Contest, you agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the Company, and its respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, suppliers, and advertising, promotional and judging organizations and each of their respective employees, officers, directors, shareholders, and agents (collectively, the “Releasees”) from and against any and all third-party claims, actions, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, expenses, injuries, or causes of action of any kind that in any way now or hereinafter may arise from or relate to the Promotion, including without limitation (i) the administration of the Contest, such as typographical, printing, seeding, human or other errors relating to or in connection with the Contest, the processing of Videos, the announcement of the prize or any related materials, inaccurate, fraudulent, incomplete, illegible, late, lost, stolen, misdirected, undelivered, incomplete, or damaged entries, any delays in delivery or lack of availability of the prize or prize materials; (ii) Your participation in the Contest offered by the Releasees or your acceptance or use of a prize, or participation in any prize related activities, including, without limitation, any travel related thereto, and death and bodily injury (including emotional distress), due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, to participation in the Contest and for any claims or causes of action based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy; and/or (iii) liability, loss or damages arising from or in connection with the awarding, receipt, and/or use or misuse of any prize or participation in any prize-related activities.
· By entering into a Contest, you agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Releasees from and against any and all claims, expenses, and liabilities (including reasonable attorneys/legal fees) arising out of or relating to any other user’s participation in the Contest.
· You agree that the Releasees are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information associated with or utilized in the Contest and that the Releasees assume no responsibility for (i) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from a user’s participation in a Contest or receipt or use or misuse of any prize; (ii) any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or delay in operation of the Contest; (iii) any computer, telephone, cable, satellite, network, electronic or internet hardware or software malfunctions or failures, problems with connections or availability; (iv) theft or destruction, tampering, or unauthorized access to Videos or submission information.
· If, for any reason, a Contest is not capable of running as planned by reason of infection by computer virus, unauthorized intervention, fraud, tampering, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the Releasees control and, in the sole opinion of the Releasees, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of a Promotion, the Releasees reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend such Contest and select the winner(s) from among all eligible Videos received for such Contest prior to the action taken.
· In no event will the Releasees be responsible or liable for any damages or losses of any kind, including indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, other than your actual out-of-pocket expenses arising out of your participation in the Contest. Some jurisdictions may not allow the limitations or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages or exclusion of implied warranties so some of the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. In such cases, our liability will be limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
General
· The Company may cancel, modify or suspend the Contest, and any of the prizes offered hereunder for any reason in its sole discretion, including without limitation, where required for security reasons, to comply with applicable law or regulation, due to abuse or otherwise where the Contest is not capable of being conducted as specified as a result of exceptional circumstances.
· The Contest will be governed by the laws of the England and Wales and entrants to the Promotion submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of London, England.
